A one-of-a-kind ceramic cortado cup by Peter Shire. Each cup is made by hand in Echo Park using a slab construction and individually painted. This edition features a double-dip design in hues of blush, jade, and yellow.

Each cup is slightly different and we cannot guarantee it will look exactly as photographed.

Peter Shire is known as a founding member of the Memphis Group. Peter's art — including sculpture and furniture, in addition to ceramics — has been featured in galleries and exhibits around the world. Part of what we love about Peter's work is his colorful, whimsical, and even absurd take on otherwise ordinary utilitarian objects (e.g. chairs, kettles, mugs).

Here in Los Angeles, and Echo Park, specifically, we're lucky to see and interact with Peter and his work at the local level.
